This scene is symbolic of her facing her pain; the wings returning is symbolic of her reclaiming her autonomy, recovering from the past traumatic events. It’s a long healing process, but her wings grow stronger after this scene day by day. I didn’t expect to like this movie as much as I did. I thought it was just going to be another hollow remake. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was so proud of her character, the fact she trusted a child as she grew up after trusting the king who betrayed at her most vulnerable even tho she knew him since they were kids 😢 sad as heck & I was so glad they made this version instead!!

I love her wings, the scene was realy nice in my opinion. The wings were years disconnected with her body, so that the are smaller because of the feather lose over the years. Later the are much stronger and larger, so i think the slowly healing in this scene. I love the concept of her outfit, the most "Faires" wearing long dresses or Something else. They dont wearing a black jumpsuit that show her wings perfect i mean. My favorite scene is, when she is breaking through glasses, with the King Holding his live on her feet.

I will say this. Was not a fan of making Maleficent into a sympathetic character because I liked her being an Evil Villain, however, the story of how she lost her wings, & the violation of it all, & how she was still recovering from that trauma resounded in me.

Gotta be one of the few live action Disney movies I actually enjoyed. I love Maleficent with wings, and how she could knock people over with the gust from one flap of her wings. The fight scenes were so cool to watch.
