We're so excited to try out one of her classic dishes, Chicken and Dumpling. What makes it special? Well a classic is always special but her steps and ingredients make it look so easy. QUICK TIPS WE LEARNED AFTER TEST:
1. Cut your veggies the same size so it cooks evenly and easier to eat.
2. After adding liquid to your dough, it will be a little wet but after sitting on counter for a few minutes it will fluff up so don't worry.
3. Her directions say to cover for 15 minutes after adding dough, but Kat found it overcooked her dumplings which made them dense. Keep your eye on them, they should be fluffy.
4. No harm in adding in extra chicken broth if you like more liquid, it's not a heavy creamy soup but it's got a nice thickness.

Did exactly to the letter as recipe indicated, set "dough" mixture aside for 20 minutes, still soupy. Had to add another 1/2 flour, 1/4 c corn meal, and sprinkling more of baking powder...but delish!

It’s even easier if you use canned biscuits dough and tear it apart

You didn't have to sift it You could've used a whisk and that would've had the same affect as sifting it
