I just recovered from covid and I had brain fog and confusion. It was terrifying as I'm a Software Engineer and there was no way I could work being in that condition and I have a family to take care of. I had trouble focusing, dizziness, felt my brain was cloudy, in the evenings it got worse. Some mornings I felt normal for an hour or two. I spoke with a Dr from my Church who explained that my body was seriously lacking essential vitamins and minerals as well as being very dehydrated after fighting covid. I got an IV and a bag of fluid and started taking vitamins that he recommended. Within two days my mind was sharp. Praise God! There is hope, don't give up!

So, What is the solution. Does it goes after few months by its own? Does it require other treatment?

I was vaccinated and boosted and was lucky to get a less awful variant from my son who had just returned to school. Night sweats 1-2 nights before I developed symptoms and tested positive. For the most part like an easy cold but for the deep tired I felt for a couple days. I am a person with a lot of energy, creativity and I am a multi tasker. I am an early riser and don't require 8 hours of sleep to feel refreshed. I am a week out, no other lasting symptoms other than a little hard to take a good deep breath, sleeping 10-12 hours a day and still tired. I also am having a hard time finding words for everyday objects, very scary, you wouldn't think so until it happens to you. I am not as productive as I was, I am hoping this will go away as my body heals.

Brain fog can be a symptom of a nutrient deficiency, sleep disorder, bacterial overgrowth from overconsumption of sugar, depression, or even a thyroid condition. Other common brain fog causes include eating too much and too often, inactivity, not getting enough sleep, chronic stress, and a poor diet.👍
