Intuitive eating is great if you already have the habits to maintain a healthy weight.

It's not great if you need to make significant changes to your habits.

Tracking is one way. Restriction is another. There are many ways to eat healthy, none good or bad - things will work differently in different stages for you.

I choose tracking when I want bullseye results at will and still eat tons of "junk" food.

Sometimes I don't care and just eat based off my intuition, but my intuition is probably more accurate than most people's tracking at first.
