I like Jo's wit and sass, she's not typically a gut-buster but her smart quips make me smile.

She deserves more recognition, she's severely underated.

Honestly, this is missing the best ever Jo Brand bit.

"Can anyone tell me about the Great Disappointment?"
Jo: (Buzzes) "Have you been talking to my husband?"
<Klaxon. Verbatim>

I fell in love with Jo's humor and deadpan delivery in Series A. Stephen talked about Henry VIII, how he was syphilitic and bloated and huge, and Jo said, "He sounds bloody gorgeous, doesn't he?" That's when I knew she would be my favorite comedian ever.

I really like Jo Brand . I have saw a very personal interview she once talking about her Family, losing her one of her Brothers to cancer. It was Raw, Powerful, Incredible honest & Moving. She is incredible Smart & Passionate . But being a Nurse requires that. Especially a Psych. Nurse. But her Humour, she is so Dry she can get away with saying the Outrageous but, but her deliverer is so well timed . Great Women. .

My favourite Jo Brand moment was very early on in the series. Stephen had asked the difference between a ship and a boat. Jo responded, "Do ships have curtains?"
She's a gem.

Mad respect to Jo for not giving a shit so early in the show. Really took some of the pressure off of Alan to keep setting the klaxon off. The show got so much better when everyone else caught on and stopped being afraid of setting it off.

I love her bit on lightning.
"How many times a day does lightning strike the earth?"
"4"
"I can say it's more than 4"
"Is it 5?"

Missing is the immortal "Stephen, I would have thought you didn't need a good reason."

Should there ever be another Discworld film, I desperately want Jo to play Nanny Ogg.

If you watch all the episodes in order, there comes a point in the Stephen Fry era where Alan becomes noticeably burnt out, and those episodes are a slog to get through -- low energy, even hostile sometimes. However, if either Jo Brand or Bill Bailey is on the panel, all of a sudden, Alan is back to being funny and good-natured and the whole panel is much more relaxed. The dynamic Alan and Jo have going on is consistently hilarious.

You have GOT to do a compilation of times when QI guests played verbal pranks on Stephen Fry - when Jackie Clune got him with the "Gullible" joke; when David Mitchell told him that Argos refer to their staff as Argonauts; when Vic Reeves told him that lemon juice can remove a Port Wine Stain birthmark; and all the times when Alan Davies got the better of him!

She's the funniest when she shows unexpected amounts of knowledge and the right answer to the questions, like the time when she described electrons as probability density functions.

Thanks to Q.I., I've searched out Jo Brand's work on YT, I've never been disappointed. Whether it's her stand-up work or characterizations, quality quality quality! I'm so glad she's out there making the world a better place, that's not sap, that's the truth.  Thanks Jo Brand, your view let's all know that the world isn't such a big bucket of shit, just a sizable one. Bigg Huggs!

My favorite Jo Brand moment is the instant klaxon to "Have you been talking to my husband?"
It's so simple but so funny.
