Years ago I was at an ODR. Saw a young kid playing with bare hands and it was like -15. Felt so bad seeing him loving the game but no mitts. Knew I had an extra pair at home so gave the kid the gloves off my hands when I left. The excitement when he said “my mom is gonna be so happy she doesn’t have to save money for some now!” just made my year. Feels good to spread the love of the game.
