Everything is a choice. How you spend/save live, eat, all choices and what's right for one person doesn't mean it's right for everyone we all have our own needs and wants. I've been in my RV since July. It's an adjustment, what I thought I needed I don't. I bought 29 foot and really could do with less. Its amazing what you really dont need.

Tom keep the message coming. You inspire me to get out quicker than I originally planned. I keep working on our plan to go Full-Time. We will not be debt free but will be in a good spot. By next Summer by two daughters should be out of the house and working on getting my son and his girlfriend out soon after. You are right about not being guaranteed what lay ahead for you. Just got word this morning that a co-worker (on my team) has colon cancer. He is around my age. I turn 50 in March.. My dad died of colon cancer at 60. I see my in-laws retired and financially stable but just sit at home all day most of the time. So FT here we come.

Boy you're not lying about uncertainty. My partner and I had a 2 year goal to be on our own homestead, living off the land, and then later on, when his kids were older, get a camper and see the country and maybe beyond. Well, 6 months ago, he lost his marbles and it was no longer safe for me to stay so I walked away from my home and my family, but not the dream. Now I own a camper and am squeaking by on a teeny tiny income, determined to still be on my own homestead in 2 years. Life decided my plan was backwards, I guess, so I'm just gonna figure it out as I go. I'm trying hard to find a farm here in NE Oklahoma where I can park and stay for a while, to help out and learn as much as I can about growing food, managing livestock and permaculture so that when I get my own land I can hit the ground running.

Thank you for this. Although I am debt free and retired, I wish I had thought of the nomads life earlier.

I never even explored anything until my son died and I realized life is not a given.

I just stumbled on your channel. I like you two! You seem easy going and cute! I battle with the debt free thing all the time. I am a single Mom and grew up camping. I love love love it! Last year I decided to finance a used tab tiny trailer. So many out there are against financing but I work full time and wanted something in good shape because I cannot afford to fix something super old. I want to start practicing now and when my son becomes more self sufficient I want to travel and continue to work. At the same time I am working on becoming more credit card debt free. Then saving an emergency fund. If I still have a car, trailer and student loan payment after I sell my house then I can work on paying off those while on the road. It is so hard getting out of complete debt while making a large mortgage payment. Enjoying your videos!

I've been in my rv full time for 4 months and love it!

our goal has been to have the RV payment + Insurance+ Campsite to be less than what we would pay in rent. We can control the cost of fuel, food and entertainment. We also have an emergency fund for the stuff that happens on the road.

Could not agree more. I have been full time for a month now and I think it’s much cheaper in the RV. We with out plan will be debt free in less than 2 years but either way I love the new life style with or without debt. Like you say live your dream. If you wait you may never get to. Great video.

No debt is good debt, including houses. Start living life for enjoyment and happiness. I made a plan in May 2018 to give myself a year to be on the road. I had two houses in Florida, one is sold the other will be on the market in April 2019. I put a deposit down on my RV and I will be paying cash for it next week (Merry Christmas to me). #mountaintribe #fulltimein2019

Do you have to be debt free to go full time RVing, NO, I suppose not. But it will make your life a lot less stressful, especially when you're just starting out. Not having to worry about credit card debt, hospital bills etc.. will make your life a lot less stressful.
My wife and I just paid off all our debt and we're going Full Time RVing as soon as our house is sold. It's going to feel good starting off with no debt.

Just found you on the Tube....
We full timed in a class A back in 2003 for about 5 yrs.
Great perspective you gave. Thanks. We are getting ready to sell everything and hit the road again. Should be on the road by May.
Thanks to your Video, we have made a new budget and decided to keep our cash to create an emergency fund and keep making payments on our debt. In 10 months, while living RVing, we will pay off debt.
Oh, we will be at the Grand Canyon Next Year...

Experienced RV-ers: As far as keepsakes and larger items that one wouldn’t want to have to replace or could not replace in the future, would it be smart to rent a temperature-controlled storage unit?

We're debt free with the exception of our mortgage. Since we live in one of the areas near Asheville, NC where you can rent your house in a vacation rental program, we're thinking about hooking up to the 5er and hitting the road. We also home school our kids. Oh yeah, we love your channel and thinking about filming our adventures.

I owe I owe so off to work I go. Your income must exceed your expenses or you are only time from bankruptcy. You Tube and Merch are a job as well and it's variable income. do you have variable debt? If you are in Debt, how do you manage to repair or replace your RV
