My RV lost me a bunch of money and was a pain to maintain, but gave me the best experiences of my life.

It still makes more financial sense than renting.

I've been full-time since college (3 years), and my trailer cost just shy of $40k.

A single bedroom apartment at $1200 a month is almost $44k.

So not only have I spent a little less, but i own my home and go wherever i please when I please.

Now you have maintenance and things always go wrong, just like a house. But as long as you stay on top of your maintenance and don't ignore problems, then it really isn't that expensive and you have a mobile house for the next 15 - 20 years at least.

Currently working a corporate job remotely, but they drain your soul from you at 80 -100 hours a week. Not worth 75k a year imo.

Very soon, I'm gonna quit and just do maintenance work for other RVers. The market is there, and I have the experience. And I'd much rather work for myself making 40-50k a year working 20 hours a week than being a bootlicker for a corporation that will replace me in a heartbeat.

Its all about what you want out of life. Staring at a computer screen 6 days a week is not what I want out of life.

Nice Rig!! Enjoy America while you can! We are not living on the road but we did "waste money on a class a" and are taking as many trips ans we can!!

What’s important here is they still maintain a regular job. Hopefully, despite their road trip experiences, they get to save part of their money.

I needed to see this today ❤😊. I’ve been considering this for a long while. I think being able to buy a new MH would be cool for many reasons, but considering how much & how fast they depreciate I can also see getting one that’s a few years old or more for a drastic discount, also being a great choice!

I'VE WORKED FOR A LOT OF OLDER PEOPLE WHO HAVE MOTORHOMES WHO STRUGGLE WITH THEIR HEALTH TO GET OUT NOW THAT THEY'RE OLDER THEY CAN'T DO TOO MUCH WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER LIKE YOU BOTH THEY COULD HAVE DID IT BUT THEY TALK ABOUT HOW THEY TRY TO GET OUT AS OFTEN AS THEY CAN BUT THEIR HEALTH DENIES THEM THE ENERGY LEVEL THAT IT TAKES TO DO THINGS AROUND THE MOTORHOME CAN BE CHALLENGING SOMETIMES WHEN YOU'RE OLDER AND EMERGENCIES THAT POP UP CAN BE QUITE DIFFICULT FOR ONE OLDER PERSON TO TRY TO HANDLE THEM BY HIMSELF MANY TIMES THE OLDER WOMAN WITH HIM CAN GET HURT TRYING TO HELP AND NOBODY WANTS TWO PEOPLE INJURED AND IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE PEOPLE TRAVELING WITH YOU ALL KNOW AND UNDERSTAND HOW TO DRIVE THE THE HOME IN CASE THE MAIN PERSON DRIVING GETS INJURED OR SICK OR LOST OUT IN THE WILDERNESS THE OTHER NEEDS TO KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE HOME IN ALL ASPECTS

Good for you both!! I'm happy you are doing what makes you happy and not waiting til later on in life. I am going to turn 70 this April and I still wonder where did all the years go? I can't believe I'm going to be so old. I feel as though I have wasted my life and there's nothing for me to look forward to. I feel as though I'm just waiting for the end to come and claim me. Since there's no do-overs it's great that you both are living the life you want and seeing our country. I have always been fascinated with RV's so I admire your lifestyle. Keep it up...do whatever you want because time goes by too quickly. Thank you for the fun videos...I can live vicariously...lol.
