I just finished up my sealed Wii U collection. It took me exactly one year to finish it. Wish I had done it in 2018/2019 but also glad I finished when I did. Overall it cost me about $4k to put the sealed set together. Didnt spend over $300 on any game. I remember getting Devils Third for less than $200 sealed and then at one point it shot up to like $700 or so. I really like sealed Wii U for a long term collecting hold. Its such a fun set to collect. Very simple to put together CIB, still possible to do sealed.

Just shows there is value to investing in games that are CIB. Not to mention it gives you the luxury of being able to play it and read through the manual and inserts.

Wii Sports Club should get way more hype than it does. Everyone has played Wii Sports but the Wii U version integrates the motion plus. It makes it SO much more fun. No long can people just flick their wrist and get a strike. You actually have to try.

Top items to own now, in addition to the Nintendo NYC bundles are the Lego big box games. Jurassic Park is non existant and I know people that have spent $2.5k+ for sealed in the last couple years. Lego Marvel big box also a tough one. Hasnt been a public sale in a while. But for sure worth $1k+ sealed.

Personally, I find these special/limited editions to be bullshit. Because they shove some figurine and a fancy manual but make it available at one store it becomes a grail? Fuck that.
