My Honest Opinion | New Fall 2024 Coach Bags

Everyone is talking about the new Fall bags from Coach this season! The Coach Empire Carryall and the Times Square Tabby might be the hottest bags from Coach at the moment. But, don't hate me. I don't like those bags or even the Coach Brooklyn Shoulder bag. Give me a chance to explain and watch as I give you detail reasons why I am not feeling these bags, something no one else is saying.

This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. I think it is fair to say that all of the brands we know and love Coach, LV, etc will never be vintage quality ever again.

I have the Margaux and I have to say it’s so frustrating when people compare it to the Birkin. Why can’t it just be the Margaux? And why diss the Margaux because it doesn’t “add up” to the Birkin? It doesn’t have to be one or the other, both can be great bags.

As with all things, to each is own. Some of us are downright tired of the Tabby, whether it’s puffy, inflated, or deflated 😂 and others of us like a flanker with a tweak here and there. I was interested in a longer (from top to bottom) version of the Tabby and the TS scratched that itch for me. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on these.

Hi Caleb I received my Coach Theo in purple today and love it. It's real leather 😂😂 thank god! After watching your videos I was getting worried.. can you advise me on leather care please as in do I mousturise and protect etc? Also no dust bag.. any alternative you suggest? I agree. I love the Tabby. I own 2 (the 26 and Pillow 18) but have no interest in adding the Times Square Tabby. The Merlot color is beautiful though for Fall. Thank you for sharing!

Agree 100%. I have two vintage Mulberry satchels and the leather is exquisite. It ages beautifully. I also look at the leather and try to envisage how it’s going to age. There is a lot of microfibre linings out there, which catch dust and dirt and bags look dirty after one use. I trust your review 100%.

I completely agree with you on all points. When I touched the Brooklyn I was surprised by how flimsy it was and cheap it felt. The Empire is going to scratch really bad. If they had made it in a pebbled soft smooshier leather it would have been a contender for me - especially in a latte/chai color with that gold hardware.

I just ordered a Brooklyn bag! It’s so nice and soft, I do agree it’s on the thinner side but I did actually like that. Let’s see how long it lasts!

They also made the empire in a size 28 sold by Dillards. I bought and love it. I agree on the lining. I would have much preferred a leather or cloth lining. I wish they would stop cheaping it up- but they are all doing it.

I am hoping they release a nice rich tone in the largest Juliet bag. It looks nice and roomy and like it will eventually slouch nicely since its so pliable. I haven't bought new coach items since coach had the poppy line and this years items brought me back, particularly the Hamptons hobo, the lana, the fun little fruits prints on items and the bag chains. I look forward to next year and hopefully they release a nice valentine's collection and some kisslock items that showed on the runway.
