This video explains why the "once a criminal, always a criminal" notion doesn't hold up. Especially when that criminal is just someone who fell in with the wrong crowd and was betrayed, working day and night to turn his life around. People change, like Frank did. It's just not good to reject someone just because they have a criminal record, especially if they're actively trying their best to start over and find a new life.
