Is the outer body of filter made of Plastic ???

The connector is of sub standard quality and the water is leaking inspite of fully tightening it.
It broke while tightening and unable to find the spares. Bought one from local store to connect it.

Why does the valve lever loosen every other day? Such an inconvenience..tired of tightening the screw daily. Need to improve product quality...and spare parts should also be made available..
Also it's not true that there is no water wastage. Even after turning off the valve, water keeps dripping for 1-2 minutes.
