Choice Meme // Demons

theres a lot going on in this one 😅 i recommend watching it at a slower speed lol. there's at least 6 different stories I squeezed into this !! i may try to explain whats going on down in the comments a bit later... just know that the demons storyline has gone through some changes!

Characters used: Poi (Snow Leopard), Nidah (Bird thingy), Midnight (monster cat), Luca (Bear), Page (white&silver Cat), Nero (Bear)-- (as well as Charles(darker gray cat), Harris(black cat) and Cassie (peach cat))

alright im gonna do my best to explain whats happening in this, broken down by characters:

*POI* : If you've watched close-up, it's basically the same thing that's happening there. Poi chills with Luca and gets approached by a monster-fied Nero, who she attacks and chases away.

*NIDAH* : If you've seen Wholesome Nidah, it's similar to that, only with more attention paid to the sand. The sand flows when mortals are alive and well, and Nidah starts to really feel terrible when she has to kill so many of them. And then when they become undead, the sand turns gray and corrupted, which scares her.

*MIDNIGHT* : As a kitten, Midnight fell in love with daffodils and collects them as he gets older. But they don't last forever, and he gets sad when they die because he has to wait for them to bloom again. But when spring comes, he gets very excited to collect more!

*LUCA* : Luca loves to be in control. He uses his powers of the mind to read your thoughts, but he can't change the way you think. That doesn't stop him from trying though, and if he gets fed up with you then he'll get rid of you himself.

*PAGE* : Page is part of a group (totally not a cult) and has different ideas from the rest of them. As a trainee, no one takes her seriously at first, but soon they start to get really upset with her constant dissent. (And someone notices.)

*NERO* : Nero wants to go home, but he can't until he chases down and gets rid of all these dang demons. Luca tries to help by giving him a medallion to calm him down, but it just paralyzes him. The demon population grows, and Nero's work is far from completed.

*PAGE AND MIDNIGHT* : Page wants to prove that monsters are chill, and Midnight wants Page to go the heck away. Midnight tries to scare her off, but his heart's not in it and Page can tell he isn't trying to hurt her. She gives him daffodils as a peace offering, which... well... Midnight freaking loves

My friend and I, we would watch your videos 4-5 years ago because you brought so much to the hobby and inspired us to try our hand at animation, because you told so much story with yours. To this day we both still watch you and it feels so amazing to see you improve and grow over the years but never lose your charm. This is honestly amazing. Seeing the characters downfall, but then seeing Midnight getting better over time from Page helping them out, it's just so heartwarming and sad at the same time.
Blackie, this is amazing, it's so smooth, and the story is honestly amazing! Great job as always! Can't wait to see the next thing you put out! :D

Oh my gosh! Your artstyle has improved so much, and it’s so clear how much work and care you put into this! The storytelling is amazing along with the different emotions shone by all the creatures. Anger, positivity, annoyance, sadness, and just being straight up tired. Also I love the feathered- demon wings design. It’s adorable <3
