On my last solo trip, the journey began with a series of mishaps that tested my patience and resolve. Despite initial anxieties about traveling without my family, I knew this solo adventure was essential for my well-being.

The challenges started early:
- I forgot to notify Virgin about my food allergies, leaving me without a meal on the plane. Fortunately, I had eaten beforehand and Matt (flight attendant) was fantastic
- The expo I was attending turned out to be different from what I expected
- To add to the chaos, my trusty suitcase decided to break on my way to the hotel, leaving me to drag it along.
- Wearing high heels, thinking I’d catch a taxi, turned into a 30-minute walk dragging my broken bag

Despite these hurdles, the trip unfolded beautifully. I met inspiring individuals, gained valuable insights, and cherished moments of solitude.
