Kicked out of the Job for Wearing the Hijab!

Stefanae Coleman, aged 22, arrived at work on Monday wearing a hijab for the first time. As a recent convert to Islam, she was excited to don the religious covering and hopeful that her coworkers would be supportive.

Stay strong sis! Same exact thing happened to me when I converted and went to work with the hijab on.

As long as it is tucked in and not in the way, and therefore a health and safety risk, it should not be a problem. Heck, you could even ask her to wear one which is the same colour as the uniform. It's so disappointing how some people hate Islam without even knowing about it. May Allah guide them.

To revert back to Islam, many don't realize it, it's a divine invitation and to be tested. This Sister's case is an example of the series of tests Allah (Glory to Him) put through his creation. Some reverts get tried with their parents NEVER agree and cut them off, some get tried in their job, in their marriage, etc... and many of the reverts give up and leave Islam cause they fail the test. "Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars." Holy Quran 29: 2-3

This happened to me today at work. When I clocked in a supervisor asked if whats on my head. I explained to him. Two hours later I was in a meeting with three men feeling uncomfortable. They told me I could not wear my hijab, and they would give me a tear away mask. I explained to them the significance in wearing the hijab. they sent me home. I work at Collins aerospace, its also called raytheon.

Hey can I have the location of that specific Chicken Express? You know so I don't accidentally order from there. Because if that's how they treat co-workers who made a decision to better their own being, I don't want to see how they treat Muslim customers

She can put hat on top of that hijab and also can put uniform shirt on top of hijab although it will be uncomfortable..

I actually don't blame the manager. He has the right to remove you if you don't comply with the dress code. Best to move to an Islamic country
