I had a high school mate who ended up working for The Guardian. He did an article and used me as a source, grossly misquoted me, ran the article with an obvious slant based on his misrepresentation and never changed or edited his work when I confronted him with the facts. It's a garbage news outlet that hires lazy writers with high ambitions for success.

Aaron is so right about The Guardian, I used to read it years ago and there was some very good journalism, but like the New York Times (which I also used to read) it has turned into a pathetic propaganda tool. I now cringe most times I see any content from the Guardian, Luke Harding, like the author of the article discussed here, are truly cringeworthy, ugh .... zero integrity.
