I love the idea of applying for jobs. Do you have examples of chores and what you'd pay? How about "criteria" for their application? Thank you for this!

It's fair enough for kids to get paid for doing chores. They live in their parents' home free, but they make up for that by never having had option of choosing not to have their parents, the parents could've chosen not to have kid(s).

you shouldnt pay them to do normal things to help it should be just expected to help around the house

I think that children should not be paid to do their chores, doing so could lead to laziness. Most parents spend large amounts of money to ensure that their children have healthy lives and promising futures, completing household chores for free is one way that their children can compensate them. Something that pains me is to see children and teenagers complain about doing chores, would they rather their sinks be full of dishes? Would they rather their trash cans be overflowing with disgusting, foul-smelling garbage? I mean no disrespect, but it is time that we stop rewarding children for contributing to the neatness and asepsis of their households.

Do you have tips for children with ADHD? Their brains don't work the same way and mundane tasks are painfully excruciating for them to get done without rewards. They need rewards and frequent breaks. They don't have the same internal motivation and mental stamina as neurotypical children.

It dosent really matter, other parents do other opinions, if parents want to give children money everytime kids do chores then they can do that, you can't make other people do what you want them to do
