This is a Great Guide! to be honest, most fakes are easy to spot if you just follow this checklist you made.
But I disagree with some of the Pricing, here is My list according to eBay:

Gen 3:

Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire: from 65$-70$
Pokemon Emerald: 120$-150$
Fire Red and Leaf Green: Accurate, but going up in price. 80$-100$

Gen 4 looks correct to My eyes but could go up in price.

Gen 5 also seems correct to My eyes, but it's going up in price.
