When my dad got to Vietnam in 68 they kept them sitting on the plane for about a hour sweating like pigs.
Barely got off the plane and on a bus when a rocket hit the plane, he said his butt didn't unpucker till he was back on a plane and about half way home

Every soldier who served in Vietnam has my highest respect and admiration. Those who booed the returning soldiers should have protested against the governments AND not the soldiers. They went to do their duty. The people who Sent them to fight AND perhaps die or be wounded should be ashamed of themselves. But! They keep doing it!

My dad was in the south Vietnamese army fighting along with the US against communists. After the war. He got arrested by the Vietcong and go to concentration camp. He inhale agent Orange and die in Jan 15 1994. I was also in the US Army from 2002 to 2012. I salute all the veterans. I am one of them. Freedom is not free. Every day u should count your blessings that someone die for u to live freely. Amen. ❤

I joined the Marines as a 16 years old. I went to Vietnam late during the war. I was never so sacred in my life as I was killing the enemy
