Going Small Because it was Dry: Blowing Silage 2022

This fall was what what I've spent the past five years praying for, well, minus the wet spring. But near drought like conditions!! It was too late in the year to affect plant growth, so don't worry, all the drought talk is a lie. We did have a sorta early frost the first week of October that burnt the leaves, but the corn was wet still. Also, sickness, post pandemic, the germs have been raging now that y'all are going out more. It's like their making up for lost time.

Wow. I got pushed around pretty hard on a JD 2030 with a 5ton silage wagon behind me. I'm amazed that you can get it done with such a light tractor. Don't need the HP, but the wieght of the tractor gives me comfort.

Since ya'll are ten times as careful as Nick. Though Nick complains fiercely about his equipment seeing how he engages his full throttle apptitude on his poor Dodge truck, I was just waiting to see the front differential on the ground whilst ya'll were trying to help him. He was trying to stymie your help.

I'd guess that the wobble in the powershaft comes from someone forgetting to unhook it. Then it comes apart on a tight turn and digs into the ground. Never done that myself of course.
