There are a variety models that can be used to fund multistakeholder approaches to address a range of socioeconomic challenges. Innovative finance sessions will focus on the impact opportunities from blended finance, understanding alternative credit models and managing risk, the range of innovative finance tools available, how innovative finance can improve organisational sustainability, and how corporates can contribute to strengthening social infrastructure.

Susan de Witt is the innovative finance senior advisor at the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and
Entrepreneurship at the Graduate School of Business in Cape Town. Susan heads up the secretariat for the Impact Investing National Advisory Board. She is also working with National Treasury in South Africa to help support development of Social Impact Bonds and Outcomes Funds. She is a fellow of the Oxford University Go-Lab Programme and, prior to this, she worked with the Social Investment and Finance Team in the UK Cabinet Office. She has worked as a veterinary surgeon in both the public and private sector and holds an MBA from the UCT Graduate School of Business and
a BVSc from the University of Pretoria.
