New Orleans Bounce formerly Know as drag rap was a combination of the unique Caribbean sound of New Orleans when it merged in 1988 with a Memphis DJ named DJ Jimmy whom changed the rap scene forever with the constant remaking of the Trigger Man beat incorporated into call and respond New Orleans house music which evolved in a hot humid climate and is what I see as a form of African Mapouka formerly called TWERKING, the word disappeared in New Orleans in the early 2000s and was replaced as "double time, hussling, move ya body, or HUT(2010)" which is done resembling a football center bent over all the way.
In 1989 the genre was Largely taken over by street dancers with radios and drums who were Drag queens and trans women. So many I'd be here forever trying to name them all as the music style is easy to reproduce for a whole city.
