One does not simply carry a $300 hammer and not make it part of the video

You have to wiggle the board at the end and say “yeah that’s not going anywhere”

I remember doing all by hand!! I could crack acorns with my fingers, now I’ve got to run them under warm water to make them feel better 🫰

By code here in North Georgia each hole has to have a nail. Complete overkill but still code.

Hate saying it but I've tried the most of them and paslode always seems to shine every time

I love how the nail itself indexes into the holes before being struck. What a time saver

I have 3 paslodes 2 gas/battery and 1 pneumatic, I have 7 hitachi/metabo pneumatic brad finish roof and frame nailers, and I have one Milwaukee 21 degree battery framing nailer and other than the hitatchi roof coil nailer I havnt touched anything other than my Milwaukee in over a year. That cordless Milwaukee has built 3 houses 2 pool houses 4 garages 4 storage buildings and a few porches and decks and has never missed a lick

I remember when Paslode was king years ago when i first got into the construction business. Now the only cordless nailers we run are Metabo HPT. They're the king of cordless nailers now but Paslode still make some unique models (like the one in this clip).

I've always loved the passlodes, the general contractors I worked for when going to Carpentary school always had them. The gas cartridges last for like 2000 shots, but the price point just never was convenient for me. I have tons of air nailers all different sizes. I'll tell you nothing beats a convenience of not having that air cord or loud compressor. You can get into tighter spaces with them. Great product!.

Sometimes, you can't fill every single hole, or you'd run the risk of splitting the wood.
Some brackets and strapping can't use the connector nailer. Reason varies, but most of all without an 1/8 inch predrilled hole in a direction away from edges of wood member to prevent cracking the member. I've had good results with predrilled for difficult strapping and hand driven 10D approved fastner. The connector nails are about 100 bucks a 1000pcs box when hand drives are 20bucks 1000pcs.
Don't even think of doing this on edge with a strapping and a nailer. Predrill, chase hand drive. All of these guns don't fit where you need it the most.. between i joists with blocking and an embedded truss anchor. Nope, don't fit 16 on center -4, and I need to hit the holes straight on.. I use it where I can.

I remember adding 2600 sq ft to my home doing 85% myself including drawing the blue prints and permitting under owner builder. I hooked my 2 young boys up with palm nailers for nailing straps off and I put a halter top on with this really sweet velvet skirt with 8" heals and drank some bud light and listened to Justin beaver and just watched. Good days eh

A nail gun? Lol. Yes every carpenter should have one!

Used a Bostitch Strap Shot for years to fasten all the Simpson Strong Tie stuff.. Paid for itself on the first job.
