Stomach gripping? Try these 3 Breathing exercises to release abdominal tension.

If you’re:
- a chronic stomach gripper,
- been conditioned to always suck in your belly, or
- hold a lot of tension in your abs,

this way of breathing might feel like rubbing your belly + patting your head at the same time. 🤯

But! It can also really help release chronic tension in your abdominals and pelvic floor (therefore help improve symptoms like leaking pee, chronic constipation, and pain with intercourse).

So let’s goooo…

Let your abdomen expand as you inhale, without changing the shape of your spine. It’s not a forceful push or a bulge, more like a gentle 🎈expansion.

Be gentle + see if you can experiment with it a few times a day. 💗

I finally found out what was wrong with me for 2 years!! I have this, it causes severe back pain, neck pain, feet pain, knee pain, and my breathing has changed. A deep breathe hurts a lot. and feels like a stabbing pain in my mid back (around t-5-7). Now I can finally overcome this. Thanks a lot for the techniques, will try them out.

Thank you for the tutorial. I'll try this out soon. I've massaged my belly before, as well as practiced very deep breaths to let my belly expand as much as it wants to. I especially love seeing the lower belly relaxed and protruding. You seem to be very comfortable with your belly as it is, and I very much like to see people comfortable with how their low belly protrudes out.
I used to suck in my stomach when I was ages 13 and 14, and as I've become less paranoid about my health, I've let my stomach relax significantly more as I've learned to appreciate my body for what it is. Nowadays, I just let my belly jut out as much as it wants to. As I've found out, I've always had in the back of my mind this strange interest in having a fully bloated belly. Bloating never gave me discomfort, and if anything, it makes me feel happy and relaxed, as well as gives me a sense of fullness and satisfaction. I don't even suffer from any kind of symptoms from the bloating, I just have a fuller-looking belly, and I love it.

I knew from the friendly smile as she rubbed her belly at the beginning that this was going to be a great video. The woman is adorable - the exaggerated "don't do these" were great too. Even though I came here specifically for this issue, i subbed to the channel anyway. And most importantly, thank you for these exercises!

Hello, I recently noticed that I've been gripping my stomach. Is it possible to get rid of the habit permanently through these exercises, or something else needs to be done? I already have back and neck pain because of this, I'm afraid of it leading to some diseases in the future. Thank you very much for sharing .
