The show makes Edward IV look stupid. He was incredibly intelligent and an excellent General. More than this, he directed the family, his wife included, not the other way around. Edward never turned against Richard. Richard was 100% deeply loyal to Edward and always sided with him on everything. A shame really, there could have been great peace in the land if everyone had simply settled down and not gotten greedy, but alas the human spirit.
