So Lilith is either a traitor or an anti-heroine. Or maybe she got "redeemed" like Sir Pentious. I will try to remain unbiased while I wait for season 2 but it's going to be difficult.

Rough theory, Lilith made a deal with Adam to take him back as her husband if he granted her Asylum in heaven - and became a dead beat mom.
Lilith was shown to take Charlie from Lucifer's lap as a kid seemingly akin to his time that week being up, hinting at the divorce/separation already happening.
I bet Lilith had ideals of rising up against heaven, and perhaps not in a nobel way like Charlie, but purely in an entitled pursuit, and she viewed Lucifer and later on Charlie's kindness and lack of "kingly ambition" as pathetic, and she at a certain point conceded to Adam's likely ever present advances, on the condition she could be given pardon in Heaven.

Also seems like she is secluded on a beach somewhere. So she is NOT in heaven properly. Duh,
She was snuck up there by Adam even unbeknownst to the higher ups.

Maybe Adam was blackmailing Lilith. Because think about it. In the beginning, she refuse to take Adam selfish command, or be obedient. Adam even told Vaggie she was dating Lilith hot daughter and try to blackmail Vaggie about her identity. Adam shows his nasty side to Charlie. I would not be surprise if he threaten to kill Lucifer and Charlie and force her to be with him. Which still show Adam wants Lilith all to himself. In my opinion.

So essentially Lilith made a deal with Adam to keep her in Heaven and now that he's dead, any deals with him are voided. Now I wonder if this means Alastor is able to gain the upper hand on her (Granted if they made a deal together). She can't hide out in Heaven, she has to be forced into the fight now
