saying that something "just" happened in a few hundred million years feels illegal even in this perspective

I always thought it was weird that everywhere in the universe that we can observe isnt a current image of the way it is now

It's really a shame that our brains aren't developed to comprehend such vast numbers. How amazing it would be, if we could.

Crazy how 290 million years for us is an unimaginable amount of time while for the universe it is like a split second.

Seeing this and saying "We're alone in the universe" is some insane main character syndrome

I’d love to see how the elements in the older galaxies formed, because there was probably a larger amount of elements with less protons, right? This is quite fascinating though, thanks (:

It's crazy that the researchers focused on Pandora's Cluster aka Abell 2744.

I imagine ourselves like 200 million years later, if we are still on earth, i wonder how much we would have evolved, its like weird bc we think that we are actually really advanced already, but the most probable thing is that we are actually like in the "baby" timeline of humans, maybe 200 million years later we might be on the "adult" human timeline or not even there.. its amazing honestly

You gotta imagine there’s life in that galaxy somewhere—it’s had wayyy more time than we have for it to develop.

Nah, the stars are aliens with snipers. Shooting stars are aliens trying to do a trickshot.
