I noticed that the eyes around the rings are on both sides so that the angel can see his own eyes. The eyes can see through all deception, penetrate through every dimension of god and the angel can see his own eyes which means he is also fully aware of himself and his own truth.

Usually this type of aesthetic on a creature would terrify me. But knowing that God created it with a specific role and with the intention of protecting; seeing it gives me great peace. My mind can’t even begin to wrap itself around how seeing one of these angels in heaven will few like.

The ancient people describing this interpreted what they saw in terms that they understood. Many eyes can mean a myriad of other things. Modern cameras/vision ports, etc. Experiences that transcend reality can be described in many ways that our minds cannot comprehend because the people experiencing them can't begin to fathom what was experienced.
