Thanks for the video ! I’m in the process of mounting my height speakers in the next few days for my 7.1.4 setup. I’m running the Apollo X16 with all Adam Audio monitors. L & R are A77Xs, the center, mid surrounds, rear surrounds are A7Xs & my 4 heights are the A3Xs. Once I get the heights mounted I’ll be running the Sonar Works software to time align & make EQ adjustments for my mix room. I do post audio mixing for films in 5.1 & this will be my next step to start mixing in Atmos. I’ve heard lots of Atmos mixes on Apple Music in 5.1 & I immediately fell in love especially with the Stressed Out Atmos mix by Twenty One Pilots, probably my favorite so far. Again many thanks for taking the time to make this video & share it ! I’m subscribing to your channel & will probably chat with you in the near future.

This was great! I'm also setup an Atmos studio (9.1.4) using 3 x Adams A77x (LCR), 2 x Adams A5x (L/R Wide), 2 x Adams A5x (L/R Surround), 2 x Adams A5x (L/R Rear), 2 x Adams SUB12 (LFE) & 4 x Adams A3x (L/R Front & Rear Top). Just about to get an Avid MTRX Studio... also had to change my desk for the centre speaker. Planning using Sonarworks and REW to calibrate my room and speakers. Great video.

TBH I dont know a lot about Dolby Atmos, but seeing your setup and the way you explained everything was pretty simple and straight-forward.

I'm in the process of planning out an Atmos rig and just had a question come up that I've not heard anyone talk about. I've not yet worked on an Atmos rig.
Are Atmos Objects unidirectional or omnidirectional in the Atmos space? I get the concept of the bed tracks and Object placement in 3D space but am wondering if an Object has x, y, z placement AND pan and tilt in said space or not.

Really great info! Just built a setup using all Focal Alpha Evos (65s for ear level and 50s for heights) and its sounding killer. Are you using your subs for bass management along with LFE or just using them for LFE?

Can you show how to setup the LFE channel filter in the setup?
I had mixes come back because I didn’t understand the way the routing went. I have MYRX Studio as well. I used the Assembler because I didn’t understand but would like to learn the other way by applying an eq to the LFE Send

I love the idea of listening to music in Atmos, but how can I actually do that? I know services like Apple Music and Amazon Music support Atmos, but as far as I know, it's a lot of Dolby processing on at Atmos mix that downmixes it into a sudo-surround stereo mix for headphones. How can I play a true multi-channel output in my living room?
