Dar Salim deserves an Oscar for this film. This whole film deserves a plethora of awards. The soundtrack really hits home. Best movie I have seen in a looong time

Not a big war movie fan, but my goodness what a great movie. Very different to what I've seen. The quiet moments, the action, the thrill, the emotion and humanity. Omg and the scene of Ahmed getting frustrated pushing Jon and sobbing on the mountain, wow.

This movie was fantastic. So many elements came together. I'd have to say the soundtrack was one of my favorite parts. It was solidly driving the story all the way through.

Also the acting was incredible. I loved the dead pan delivery of the lines. It was like an inside look into the life of a modern soldier, but when the shit hit the fan. The acting took on a completely different tone.

I loved the connection between two man, between two souls, the pain of commitement and that hook "inside of him" that would kill him if he would not went back. The obligation to save other´s life, keeping a promise and paying debts. PAY YOUR DEBTS !!

Dar Salim was so real, I literally was afraid to breathe the whole movie. Such a brilliant actor's work. Also the director did a great job! I didn't like Guy Ritchie before but this movie made me change my mind

It's been quite a long time since I had seen another war film that kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time. This film was one of em. They executed it really well the whole part of it as well the telationship between the main characters of the film.

What a Guy Ritchie's war movie would look like ?... well, to an Award Winning one !
That was a moment of humanity and genuine generosity transposed in a brilliant way. Without the usuals effusions and emotions' demonstrations, much closer to the reality of men than to the films' "characters" . For me, spectator, that was a pure cinema moment
