Hello, It's been awhile since you posted this video. Do you still have the canoe and do you still sail it? I have a 19' square back Grumman with a Grumman sail kit (lateen sail, twin wood leeboards and rudder with tiller pole). I have had it for 20 years and never sailed it. I use it all the time as a canoe with paddles (and an electric motor). I want to sail it this spring and was wondering if I should invest in an outrigger set. So I am asking if you have any more knowledge you can share. Thanks, Mike

This looks great! I'm curious if this is your rig, and if so, how did you devise the mast step? I've been toying with the idea of rigging my aluminum canoe, but the attachment of the mast step has been a stumbling block.

Hi George. Canoe is put away for this year, we are only weeks away from snow in this part of the world.  You can find some info on the Grumman sail canoe on flicker.com. look for the group "CRANNE". if you need more info ask again in late spring early summer and I can take some close up photos. Fair windsHugh
