Grumman Sailing Canoe

Installed a sail to my Grumman canoe. Wanted to make it simple as possible. That's why no boom nor rudder. The sail is from a small sail boat and the mast from an old wind surf board.

Nice to see someone who knows where to place the mast with a small bermuda sail. Is that about a 38-42 sq ft?

I use Grumman canoes to build trimaran camping rigs. The big 64ft gunter from Grumman can be modified and improved for very good performance with reef points and removal of the boom sock to sail it loose footed. I do like a rudder/tiller set up though, using a painter's extension rod for the Norwegian Tiller arrangement. A 20ft jib makes tacking and upwind performance as good as any "real" sailboat.

Can you make a video explaining the rigging and how to assemble the gruman rig. Also how to use it all ?
