He is a concert pianist that Dr Halsey enjoys listening to when she works. Its only logical that Cortana would like it to. Being called Prelude should be taken literally.

The definition of prelude is "an action or event serving as an introduction to something more impprtant".

Played at the Prologue of Halo 5, were Cortanas creation is detailed, preluding what she is to become.

Played at the Epilogue of Halo 5, where the noe corrupted Cortana takes posession of a Halo Ring, preluding to the more important events of Halo 6.

I was playing halo CE last night and heard guilty spark humming then I realized that it was cortnana humming at the end of halo 5

It kinda sounds like what Regret was chanting in Halo 2 in the cutscene just after Delta Halo, when Cortana revealed that he was planning to activate Halo.

Some People Are Saying That It is Guilty Spark Because In the first halo game he was humming it

During the level where chief arrives at Genesis, he activates multiple consoles which were activated using the "olly olly oxen free" command.
Looking back at the legendary ending where Cortana activates a halo ring I can assume that the Halo ring was voice activated. 343 Guilty spark may have not had anything to do with Halo 5 or even 6.
When Cortana hummed before the halo ring activaed (legendary ending) she hummed olly olly oxen free. The music which is compared with her hum is indeed olly olly oxen free. Could master chief activating those consoles have let Cortana voice activate the halo ring with olly olly oxen free?

The intro is probably leading to the events of Halo: Infinite, if Chief receives a copy of Cortaba. And that Installation in the ending cutscene is probably Zeta Halo.

I'm hoping it's a reference to Guilty Spark; in the novel Halo: Primordium, Guilty Spark takes over the human ship Rubicon, forcing its crew into cryo-sleep, and sets out to find the Librarian, who he believes is still alive somewhere in the galaxy. There are hints in Silentium that the Librarian ended up on a Halo ring. These events are also mentioned in the recent novel Hunters in the Dark (which also introduces Olympia Vale).

This was the song that the UNSC used to give the 'all clear'. The fact that cortana is humming it with the halo ring in the background suggests that she has found a halo ring and is giving the all clear. 'All Clear' - Is she going to activate it? By the all clear she could mean the galaxy is all clear of all life (I think shes gonna use it as the lights on the ring lighted up meaning its powered on and maybe ready for activation. Of course I could be wrong). We can clearly see that Cortana and Master Chief have feelings towards one another throughout the Halo series and since Spartan Locke took Chief from her at the end of the Halo 5 Campaign, and because she's all phsyco now, she could be like 'if I can't have John then nobody can' and completely wipe out all life in the galaxy. This could be the plot for Halo 6 however this is entirely hypothetical. Also I think the flood will be returning, if not 343 has COMPLETELY fucked up the Halo series.

also that is the esact same ring anders launched in halo wars 2 and the one the master cheif destroyed, you know the one near reach that 343 guilty spark tried to launch, that also means that the flood/ the primordial has taken over cortana and she is his tool or in other words his puppet
