Truly miss this legendary human..grateful to have been fortunate enough to grow up watching him on TV while he was still here

Man broke his finger, and popped in into place for him too keep working. Then fighting the super croc he breaks a rib after getting hit by a 17 foot crocs head and still helps the team too keep it under control. He was a legend, missed dearly.

I saw there was a petition to get Steve on the Australian dollar instead of King Charles. Absolutely could not agree more, no Australian I can think of who deserves it more. This man did more for conservation and wildlife than just about anyone. RIP to him, wildlife and conservation has really faltered since then without a charismatic person showing the world the awesome part of nature.

Bunch of us used to skip school so we could watch crocodile hunter at 10am haha back to back episodes and then go back to school

I miss this guy so much. he was a major part of my childhood, a major reason why crocs are my favorite animal

What a great bloke he was. Such a shame. The only small comfort for his family is that he died doing what he loved, interacting with nature and different animals. He was a bloke who you felt you knew, even though you’d never met him. Sadly missed.

There’s no way I couldn’t watched this without having a tear on my eyes . I was very young when he passed ( 8-10 yrsld ) Steve was my hero and he is the reason why I love animals so much thanks to his unconditional love to the wild life .

Miss and love Steve Greatly. I’ve visited his Zoo twice now and it’s amazing and his family do a great job of keeping his legacy alive. Like no other ❤

I loved watching this show as a kid. Man was such a great human being. I am so glad his son took up his mantle. May his legacy live on for centuries to come.

I miss this guy so much, I watched his show from day 1. I can't even start to figure how many hours this guy entertained me. He was such a good positive man. I never saw any negativity out of him

I miss that dude. I used to watch his show. My cousin and I would light a joint and watch Steve, the crikey thing always made us laugh.

Steve’s narration was out of this world. His annunciation and care was HUGE.
