Steve was a legend. Terri told a story about how they were driving in the middle of nowhere, all the terrain looked the same, Steve suddenly stopped and said there is a nest of owls in that tree, no clue from the road. He walked over and sure enough there was a nest of owls. He’d been there before and remembered the exact tree.
That’s real affinity with animals. I miss him 😥

Ohhh God how I loved him when I was growing up... broke my heart when I was ten and heard the news because I always wanted to work with animals in his zoo. God bless him, he'll be back one day 💪✝️

All of these interviews he did, I feel like the interviewers were too caught up trying to make jokes or be funny, meanwhile Steve was just passionate about the animals and showing people wildlife. He was just the best person, so kind to his wife and children, and did so much for our planet, I wish he could still be around today.
