I know why people suggest buying Disney merch before hand. My kids LOVE going into a shop and choosing their souvenirs. If I just whipped a Mickey plush out of my suitcase they wouldn’t consider it a Disney souvenir. It’s not just having a Mickey plush, it’s also about walking into the Emporium, gazing in awe at the wall of Mickeys, and choosing the one they want. It’s part of the experience. I have been taking my kids to Disney since my oldest was a baby and even when she was a year old she loved going into the shops and picking her souvenir. Shopping is an attraction for us. My kids save their birthday/Christmas/lawn mowing money to buy their souvenirs.

See indoor shows during rain, everyone has the idea so know what shows are in the park you are in and get to them. We bailed on a splash mountain fastpass when we saw rain clouds coming in and went to philharmagic, stayed dry and still go on splash at the end of the fastpass time

So since it’s Florida, it rains a lot. You may get a good week with no rain or a week where it rains daily. Get your rain poncho somewhere else!! The Disney rain ponchos are not high quality & I believe start at around $20.

During my visit last December, we stayed at a hotel near the gondolas and it was so great! The wait time was nonexistent. We only had to take the bus twice the entire trip and somehow times us leaving the hotel perfectly with the bus arriving. Don't ask me how!

I am very very scared to heights and I just want to encourage those like me. The Skyliner is smooth and feels very safe. On my second ride I actually enjoyed it.

Warning you that the Skyliner doesn’t start running until 7:00 AM. If you want to get to HS to get ROTR queue number you need to go by bus or Minnie van.

I know it's a small detail but I LOVED the busses. Most if not all of the time the bus drivers made the trip alot more enjoyable. One driver even did a little comedy during the trip back to my hotel and he was legit funny.

A tip for saving up money to pay for food and souviers: My family has a Disney Visa Credit Card and we bank up the cashback points all year and redeem them for money to spend at the parks. My parents gets the cashback on giftcards that we use while in the parks it pays for all of our meals and souvenirs for our 4 to 5 days at the park. You can also use the cashback at the Disney store throughout the year. Also if you are in the military, Disney has an amazing military ticket discounts!

Great advice!! Hopefully skipping check in and losing the fingerprint scan will help some in the immediate opening. I'm not worried about the possible temperature checks, because I'll do whatever I can to keep others healthy

A tip to shave off time when entering parks is to scan your band and your finger at the same time. In addition, once the finger LED turns white, you can remove it instead of holding down your finger.
