In this episode, you can see that Cathy doesn’t hate the moms or the kids, she hates Abby. That proves that Cathy isn’t as bad as she seems. She feels sympathy for the girls, the only person she hates is Abby due to her behaviour towards the children and others who don’t agree with her.

I hate how Melissa was like "Once again, the moms are singling out Maddie". Every other child, including Mackenzie, gets compared to Maddie and brought down by Abby on the daily. It’s very rare for Maddie to get yelled at and compared to another dancer. Melissa basically even forgot she had a second child until the last two seasons that they were on the show and even then, she preferred Maddie.

the group actually wasn’t pulled because abby wanted to retaliate, the group was pulled because they used real fire on stage and were disqualified but the show wanted more drama so they switched the narrative
