What Was Discovered beyond Pluto? Quaoar - One of the Largest Objects in the Kuiper Belt

The Solar System is the area of space that has been investigated by mankind most. People have been observing the planets, satellites and other celestial bodies in the space around the Sun for hundreds of years. Thanks to their efforts, the space objects lying closest to us have been studied comparatively well. But as for areas beyond Neptune’s orbit, there are thousands of equally interesting celestial bodies hiding in the forbidding and freezing dark, and each of them keeps its own secrets to itself. One of these dark sullen worlds doggedly following their orbit is Quaoar. And that is the object we will talk about today.

I love how Quaoar's orbit is more circular than some planets (It's orbital eccentricity is only around 0.04, compared to other TNOs like Pluto (0.25), Orcus (0.20), Ixion (0.24), and compared to some planets like Mercury (0.20563), Mars (0.0934), Jupiter (0.0489), Saturn (0.0565), and Uranus (0.0464))
