Listen to that thing clipping in and out... even in the short Can nobody else hear the the low end of his vocals waving in and out. Generally my biggest problem with this mic. Is there a way to fix that?

This would be great for interviews! I personally like to use a Shure SM7B (the mic Joe Rogan uses).

Hello, I have 5 questions. Im trying to record my voice for gaming YouTube videos and perhaps streaming, I have the Podmic - xlr cable - scarlet solo - usbc to usb cable- to high end PC. I installed the drivers and software focusrite that you get when plug and play the scarlet. 1) When i try to record something with Adobe Premiere Pro the mic icon is greyed (Why?). 2) Also the Audio Recording settings of Windows 10 shows "Analogue 1+2 Focusrite Usb audio" but it doesn't show the Podmic, is this normal and what does it say analog, is not supposed to be digital? 3) On the other hand, when I record using Adobe Audition it works, but I hear my voice extremely low, even tough I have the gain knob on my scarlet solo set to max. I dont think this is normal and I dont wanna spend on a cloud lifter I just want to record a nice, clear and high monologue commenting videogames but so far it sounds like a cheap mic, how to improve the gain? 4)Thoughts about stereo/mono settings, whats the difference, do I need to change something? 5) Finally, what software can I use to record my voice at the same time while im playing games, what is the process you follow?

Would you say this microphone needs a cloudlifter? From reviews i have gathered it appears the microphone is, without the procaster, very quiet and needs extra gain meaning more noise (i think), also is it good to still add the rode popfilter? I heard its a nice addition, thank you for the review btw! :)
