i suggest buying the blink solar mount. This adds a permanent powersource to the camera, obviously depending on the location. but you can relocate the solar panel part

Not 100% sure if it misses in the video or if I really didnt see it, but I missed the explanation for the armed/disarmed switch. For most people it's function will be obvious.
To me it's the most important control that makes the difference between a usless gimmick that floods me with messages and records useless clips all day long, and a usefull system I can arm when i leave home and disarm when I am back.

Thanks so much for the video! It was really helpful watching you set yours up, but it would have been MORE helpful if you explained ALL of the settings, not just the ones you chose. So, for ex., what does "IR intensity" mean, and what would the "Early Notification" do if you had turned it on? Regardless, THANK YOU. If you happen to read your comments, I do have three questions: 1) if I have more than one camera, do I have to have a sync module? 2) Since you have those 139 saved videos, is that with a subscription, or do the cameras save videos in a list like that even without a subscription? 3) Lastly, when I went to set mine up the app was very insistent that I link it to my Amazon account - is that a good idea or just more unnecessary surveillance on their part?

STEVE DOES, when you place the mini blink camera behind a glass window either your front door window or back door window to view the front yard and back yard, how can you prevent the window glare issues or window reflection issues? How can you use two mini blink camera to view both the front yard and back yard at the same time viewing them in real time and recording in real time?

I just added the wired outdoor flood light to my system with the 3 mini cameras I already have. My system works great. I just changed my recording quality from the middle setting to the highest setting, but to be honest the middle setting gave me good clear recordings. I have not timed it but when I do live viewing it stays on much longer than 60 seconds, not sure if that is because I have the $10 a month plan.

Very useful information! Steve went kind of quickly, so I had to pause a lot to get to the right menu. But it allowed me to tune up my Blink cameras on my newly installed system.

I have 2 Blink Outdoor cameras and just added the doorbell. I want the doorbell armed at all times but want to add schedules to the outdoor cameras. Seems like you should be able to add a schedule to an individual camera vs all of them on the same schedule. Hopefully that is something they will consider in future updates. Or am I missing something?

sound clearer?? There is so much fuzzy noise and you can barely hear the actual voices.

Question about the Privacy Zones, I set up a privacy zone in front of my vehicles on my driveway camera because every night a neighbors cat prowls around that spot. I succesfully set up the zones I wanted the motion detection to ignore, yet every morning I have a fresh clip saved of that dang cat going through only the zones I told the camera to ignore. So it seems the privacy zones don't do anything at all. How do I fix this?
