How to change toner on a Canon Laser Printer ImageCLASS MF264dw Print/Scan/Copy

The Canon ImageCLASS MF264dw is a Black and White Laser Office Printer with a large capacity scanning feed and a flat glass.

The MF264dw v. MF244dw (older model):
- Increased Print Per Minute (PPM) speed from 28PPM to 30PPM
- Cheaper Toner, lower output? 051* (new model: yields 1,700 pgs) vs.Toner 137 (older model: yields 2,400 pgs)
*Toner 051 does have a High Capacity version that is more expensive than the Toner 137 but at a yield of 4,100pgs!

Very helpful vid, thanks. Effectively no step-by-step or diagram instructions on how to do this in the Canon manual--Arrrrgh! I miss the "good old days" when you got all the info and instructions you really needed with a new device.

I have 3 Canon Imageclass printers, all with different locations for the cartridges. Just changed the MF6530 (old printer no longer supported by Canon), the location is on the side for clearing jams opposite from the power switch side. That was the most demanding thing, finding the access panel. Installing the cartridge super easy after removing all the tapes, just remember the orientation before removing it. I have no problems using the cheap generic toners and save a bundle on any of my Imageclass printers although one indicated low toner but keep on printing for couple of years.

Canon brand cartridges cost almost as much as the printer. I only paid $130 for the printer (AMZN) a few months ago, Cannon brand cartridges cost about $100 (about 900% markup).
Get generic ones on ebay for less than $20, been using 'em for years without any problem.
