That wasn't a standard Coke, that was a kids party party pack one. Tomato ketchup doesn't normally come in pots, maybe in posh restraunts. The urinal is normally on an auto timer.

In the UK at least, many but not all places will give you a glass of tap water for free if you ask.

The video should be called 'Ridiculous false generalisations I made about 44 countries from visiting just two in two days'. I really believe he's based it on a two-day visit to just two places, two restaurants and two walks in the cities, I can't think how else it could have come up with that.

A lot of inaccuracies in the video... ketchup does not come in glass bottles, sinks are not at all that small as shown, smoking is definitely not cool here in Europe, not all public restrooms are paid, only the ones not attached to something (so a McDonald's restroom is free, a restaurant restroom is free, a mall restroom is free, a gas station restroom is free, etc. But a standalone restroom near a train station or in a central square might be paid), only bottled water is not free, tap water is free, there are many trash cans not one every 2 miles... etc. And yes, all public restrooms have urinals, which are sensor based (so it will flush once you move away from it). Also the pee button on toilets does indeed release less water than the big button.

The only law UK that forces businesses to provide free tap water applies to licensed premises. Pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs must provide free tap water if they sell alcohol, under the Licensing Act. but if you are posh and like to pay more for water that fuel you still have that option too in different size glass bottles if in a bar/resturant/pub, but most other places like shops water be in plastic bottles. difference i feel with the charging for water is country's like Spain with tap water some have got ill from it, but In terms of safety, the tap water in Spain is perfectly drinkable. However, as mentioned previously, depending on the area in which you reside, your tap water may have a certain odour and/or taste. This can be due to the higher levels of chlorine, sediment and minerals that it contains. but you hear story's like Spain takes the top spot for Brits falling ill due to consuming tap water, with France in third place. Tap water is generally considered safe so these could be the reasons behind the charge and bottled water.

Lounge wear at sophisticated jobs truly wouldn't happen unless they're sporty, Lounge wear in schools does happen quiete regulary or at least it did in the last 5 years to me and other educational institions, but personally, as someone grown up middle class with parents from the 1950s ...I developed this fear to be seen as kinda economy low class and possibly anti-social.
So, maybe that's a reason why there are only "seasons" (Generations) were that was a thing or wasn't?
I defintiley went to the store in PJs and jogging pants before more times and sometimes I still felt better dressed in them then some of stuff people wore for the rest of the day, but it usually was the weekend so who bothers?

Mr Giant, you probably already know this but if you don't. the saying, to spend a penny. This origanates from the 18 hundreds when the goverment started to charge people one pence to use public toilets. Even today if you use a toilet on a train, when you flush your buisness goes straight onto the tracks.

In the UK at least northern Ireland there isn't many paid toliets. Public toliets are usually free but you may find paid ones.
