The ZTE Axon M was one of the first dual screen smartphones, and while it's full of quirks and nick knacks, its execution was subpar. So, four years later, how does this wilderbeast hold up? And, could it even be worth buying as a budget galaxy fold alternative?

You know where you can do with two screens is kill your battery twice as fast with a terrible battery life to begin with. I own one and it still has an excellent battery but it drains too quick. Also, the different color temperature on the screens, one's cooler, one's warmer and the lack of support for apps. But it's a fun fun to play with and well worth it if you can get it for around a hundred bucks unlocked

A pair of years ago The Phone House (local seller) was getting rid of them for 90EUR (110USD aprox.) and thought about buying one just to take the piss. But decided to keep the money as there was little I could do with it. No real advantage for me with the dual screen and by then the SD821, small battery and huge vessels already were off-putting.

You can light a fire or get burned by its flashlight, it had potential but due to lack of software support it made me get rid of it

I really like it and I'll probably buy it. I don't want to spend over 400€ for a new phone, especially not more than 1k for a galaxy Fold or Microsoft surface. And I know it's old, but most apps require at least android 4.4 or 5, so most Apps or games will work on it. It's kind of expensive in Europe, it costs about 330-350€. I've heard it had an Android 8 Update in Europe, is that true? Android 8 would be new enough to use well and it has picture in picture mode.

Axon m I love this phone so much?? I dropped it 10000x drenched in water 2x. Still working lol. Can't find oem cast. Zte stopped making phones 2017. I wish they. Would of continued to make it and fix some issues minor, I also like it cuz its old school like and different like myself

I bought this for the two screens and I knew it was a 50/50 deal knowing how old the phone is compared to my iphonexr but it was good while it lasted 😭 had it almost a year before I had problems with one screen now turning on at all them pops on randomly..and now it’s just dead won’t even take a charge for nothing!?! 😭

I only buy gaming phones these days but if it wasn't for that I would 100% own this. It's super cool, especially for game emulators like the Nintendo DS.

I have No Idea why people Always Complain about Spanning 1 app on 2 screens... Sure it can do it But It's not meant for that...Obviously!

NOBODY with Dual screen Monitors on a Computer watches anything on Both Screens LOL So why would people do the same thing on a dual screen phone??? ... It literally makes no sense. 2 Apps at a time is the Only purpose.. Is that simple concept so hard to comprehend... Well, Clearly it is for many people.
