Algebra 1 Lesson #48 How to Solve Equations with Rational Expressions

In this lesson, we will learn how to solve rational equations or equations that contain rational expressions. The idea here is to first find the LCD for all denominators of the given rational expressions. We will then multiply both sides of the equation by the LCD to clear all the denominators. Once this is done, we can proceed to solve our equation using the normal steps to isolate the variable on one side.
