I see this song it two ways:
The first one, the fear of being replaced, losing people you love and them replacing you with someone else and making the same memories they did with you before.
The second one, it's like, I don't want someone else to take my place and go through everything I lived. It makes me really sad the thought of someone living my life in that way. Not being motivated, being suicidal, stuff. Both ways hit really hard tho-
