Thanks for the content as always. It's worth noting that when no codes are shown another typical component that generates uneven idling is the capacitor located on a bolt near the top right side of the valve cover. Sometimes the terminal to the cap gets loose and can even trigger a short and no start condition as there's 12v there

Nice to see you still working on the SRT-4. Looks like mine threw a code for the power steering pressure sensor so I will be replacing that soon. I'll keep this video in mind if I end up having to do the camshaft sensor at some point. Got 180k miles on mine and still strong! haha

@autofun, I noticed while installing your new magnet, that it was cracked. o.O Look closely, you can see the split open.

Now note, I bought a new magnet and sensor from DCR recently and replacement mine to be ahead of the game as well. I noticed my brand new magnet also had a tiny hair line crack, it didnt seem to hurt anything, installed mine, zero issues. Although my srt-4 is on jack-stands having its turbo mani-fold replaced from another hairline crack. (I thermal wrapped stock manifold and it cracked, learned from my mistake) anywho. Cheers! glad you're still making srt-4 content. Please make more.

There was a gasket already in there was that the same one or what? You should take it out or leave it in like you did?

So could that cause a weird fuel pulse ? I was gonna check the dowel pin on crank sprocket

Could this camshaft sensor cause a p0202 / p0203 codes or would spark plugs cause that code ?

Hey bro, this is random but I just bought a neon srt4 put a motor and big wheel stocker and a greddy blow off valve on it runs hard 1st 2nd gear but 4th and 5th buck and barely run under acceleration

I have replaced my plugs with NGK iridium
New coil pack
New inatke manifold gasket
Injectors sound good and no missing
A lot of guys say TPS and wiring is that true or should I do cam sensor?

Possible a crank sensor can go bad without check engine light on? Having intermediate crank but when it does at times runs rough shut off on the road a few times after driving too but no codes

What do you think it could possibly be if just p0339 comes up and it hangs in idle and runs rough

Just got back after trying to get my mechanic to change out the sensor and magnet and he was trying to tell me he had to remove the valve cover, camshafts and head, lmao! I’m like bro, no. Goodbye.

Does anyone have any experience with the DCR oil flow modifier? Rebuilding a 2.4 NA manual transmission. Thanks another for any input.

Alex !! I need help!!! So when I have my srt4 on neutral, and if i press on the gas to raise my rpms to about 3, 000 it goes up but the problem is when it goes back down to about 2, 000 rmp it gets stock there it won't come back down !? . Will this be the problem as well ? Please let me know asap !!!! It's my daily

Going to buy a srt4 this weekend has engine code for camshaft sensor is it ok to drive the car like that guy tells me wants to cut off coming to stop signs and traffic lights that u have to give it some gas
