Bad camshaft sensor example, 2004 Dodge Neon SE

Uploaded to see if anyone with some mechanical knowledge could suggest to me what might be causing this. I'm 99% sure it's electrical... sensor of some kind?

mine made a similar noise...replaced fuel injectors, plugs wires and coil pack..still had the noise! then fuel filter/ regulator...turns out to be knock sensor and cam shaft position sensor but engine may always make noise

Gosh, i hated when mine went bad on my pickup. Was a bihh to replace but i did it myself so i wouldnt spend $150 in labor for a $20 part. So glad its good now

I currently have the exact same problem and my car will literally only start once a day lol it's almost as if the gears are messed, I had a mechanic use the code reader on it and he said I probably would need a whole new transmission, but turns out it's just the cam sensor!!
