People seriously undervalue this 1.8L. It may look slow on paper but it is relatively peppy under modest acceleration.
Then again, its not built for speed. This 1.8L has been in production since Madonna's first album and they have made constant improvements on it. Its built to last forever and not give the buyer any issues.
im seriously contemplating trading in my civic that's giving me a slew of issues for a corolla because I know it will never fail me.

20k car w LED headlights, taillights, high beams, tss 2.0, all automatic windows, 8 inch screen, break hold, electronic parking break, automatic climate control.. seems like a sweet deal.

Toyota's CVT has a physical 1st gear then "second gear" is one continuous gear, which is why it felt like it shifted, because it did. It's an interesting transmission.

i owned one for 3 months. heres my review. 1 reliable - itsa toyota.2. cheaply made 3, black dash and cheap black plastic shows lint 3, cvt -terrible felt like was shifting in and out at low speed. 4. constant buzzers were highly annoying we sold it and bought a low milage 2004 camry. wow what a nice car the 04 decision i made

My daughter is in need of a new car.
I am looking to help her out with some of the finances.
The Corolla LE seems to be what she needs.
For a gas only model it gets excellent miles per gallon.
I could see my daughter owning one of these for at least 10 years if not more....

I own a Rogue 2015 and yesterday bought a 2022 corolla. Corolla’s transmission is way more responsive than my Rogue’s

The front view of the car with the camera angle at 6:11 is neat! Looks like a different car in itself. Just saw the same color Corolla today.

Ah, Younger. Now you're in my neck of the woods. I live just west of Hagerstown. Was actually looking into these some myself. Tho I'd probably go with an XSE hatchback with a manual. And good to know you can fit in the back. Im 6ft myself, and would occasionally have to haul around our teenage girls.

Not my cup of tea, but for those on a budget I think it is an excellent choice.

Unfortunately that's the MSRP while at the dealership, almost at any dealer in different states the price will be like an additional 1.5 or 2k more over the MSRP. That's the reality. I have my 2022 Corolla LE White-pearl since December 21 and I love it. Sometimes I get 41-45 Mpg on the Highway. 39-40 just easy every time at about 70-75 Mph, up to 45 Mpg only if I drive ~65 Mph which is enough in most cases.

I’d like to get a Toyota Corolla to start with, since a Tesla is way too expensive to own right now. It would be fun to drive an electric car, but it’s better to just start with a gas car for now. I know a Toyota Corolla is a good car to have. It’s good on gas and can last forever.

Great review but when buying the Corolla, am I going to get much better performance by purchasing a version with the larger engine?

Will the CVT last long enough to own the car after you finish paying off the car? Perhaps 6 spd. Manual trans is better and will last longer.

Can you shy in on the auto climate control? Will it automatically set to desirable temperature based on the ambient temperature or..? Thank you
