That poor dog who found those firefighters-- how can people say animals aren't capable of feeling? He knew the difference between an alive and a dead person, he knew the permanence and weight of that, and outwardly expressed that sadness to the point of losing hair-- just like a normal person would if they were traumatized. Those were some good dogs.🥺

Those Dogs took the title of "Man's Best Friend" to it's absolute limits.

I'm going to cry reading about the bravery shown by the dogs and the people who spent time, energy, and determination on the day after the terrorists attacked. We shall survive and thrive. Thank God and "Let's roll"!❤😢

I was only 5 at the time and only have a handful of memories about that day. But one that sticks with me is the stories of the rescue dogs, I remember vividly the days, weeks, and months after the attack when the dogs were the forefront of the news...sadly it's probably because there wasn't much else to talk about during those times. I have a dog of my own now and she is my best friend, it really makes these stories hit even harder

i was having such a normal day before this… thank you for making the videos you make. its already so hard to think about the tragedy when its about people. my heart aches for such innocence. we are blessed to have dogs. they do their jobs so well when the rest of us are so scrambled and have no clue how to go on.
