Her audition was one I found myself thinking that; a lady of her age would NOT go to such a thing if she COULD NOT sing; to humiliate herself to face family, friends, co-workers needlessly. The judges and audience angered me to Nth degree with snickers, rolling eyes plus that I just knew she'd sing well, just no idea HOW GREAT or MAJESTIC she was. Now I'll never forget !

2024 - I still believe her first appearance was the # 1 event in all the talent shows ever. I loved Amanda's class, Simon's funny man, Rier's shock & Susan's everything, especially her blowing a kiss to audience exiting stage. Had to be her defining moment of her life.

Always wondered why she didn’t get the golden buzzer the first time. Pierce said it was his biggest yes ever, and Amanda and Simon were blown away. If Anybody deserved a golden buzzer on their first audition it was Susan
